Joint forces for and against the cloud

Once a year, we gather selected customers for our well-established Circle of Excellence.

This recurring checkpoint helps our clients to reflect and improve in the aftermath of our projects, since they all face similar questions in practice: Which cloud use cases add the most value? How do I identify unsuitable cloud solutions? Do the cloud service providers have the required level of maturity? How do I stimulate dialogue between different departments at an early stage when introducing cloud services?

Although we always aim to leave our customers well prepared after their projects, they understand that we cannot relieve them of all the challenges that lie ahead even if we wanted to.

It is also clear that exploring the realm we have co-created generates additional value for our customers. According to John Seely Brown (1), sustainable learning success (by individuals and organisations) is always “demand-based”. Transformation has its origin in a deeper, inner motivation, which is triggered when our clients begin going their own way and making their own experiences.

Nevertheless, we don’t leave our customers entirely to their own devices.

Our annual Circle of Excellence is an offer for our Project Alumni (2) who trust the community to find effective problem-solving approaches. We – Sourcing International – organise a varied day with peer group workshops, keynote speeches, panel discussions and a learning workshop, all in the spirit of getting to know one another and learning from each other. This has already led to excellent matches among our clients and contributed to forging several business alliances. 1) Board Member at Amazon, Polycom, former Chief Scientist at Xerox and Director of XEROX PARC 2) Project Alumni are customers who have completed one or more of the following project types: cloud compliance, governance & management, or AI compliance
